School.

Have you guys noticed that our history teachers teach us about the government, then probably go home and complain about health care, and our president. But they only teach us about the government 100s of years ago. They don't dare say a word about stimulus plans or recessions.

No one teaches us about music. But music has shaped our culture. So shouldn't it be? I mean there is music class...But you sing songs no one has ever heard.

I mean lyrics tell us more then any "educated" person can.

Or we read story's about urban environments where people are being bullied or raped. But does anyone tell us how to deal with that if it happens to us? What if our dads get drunk and hit our mom? What if someone offers you drugs? What do we do? Find X? Learn how to spell words?

Its a different world out there then what it used to be.

So why don't they teach us differently?


Our grocery store clerks didn't finish college.

We need math why?

Its predicted that a 4Th of our population first language is going to be Spanish in a few years.

We need English why?


The only science people know is how to grow pot.

And history...why waste our time when were killing ourselves?


I know we need this stuff... But seriously, whats the point anymore if there not going to teach us stuff we need. We cant do math when every ones losing there jobs...
