You were You...

Maybe it’s because your eyes still make my stomach feel fuzzy, or maybe it’s the way I get lost inside them. Or maybe it’s because I can still remember the first time I saw them. Maybe it’s the way you look at me with them, or it could be because I fell in love with them. But I can’t look away…

I can’t put my finger on it…

It could be the way you hold me up when the whole world starts to crash down. It could be because you give me a “peace” that I’ve never felt before. It’s like when I’m in your arms, the whole world goes away. My parents, school, people…The only thing that matters is the steady beat of your heart. Thump…Thump…thump. As I start to drift off to the clouds. I realize our hearts are somehow beating as one. THUMP…THUMP...THUMP.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s it. Or wait…

Maybe it’s the way you smile at me. That smile that makes me melt, and makes Big strong Mike into your little teddy bear. Or it could be the how you make my smile come out of hiding, when no one else can find it. Or the way you actually bright up the room when you walk in. Or the way you make me laugh uncontrollably for no reason.

No...There’s another reason, I know it.

It could be because I can be myself around you, and I can call you my best friend, and my girlfriend. Maybe it’s because I can tell you anything, and that I can act like a total fool around you. And you think I’m the cutest thing in the world.

Maybe just maybe…

It could possibly be because you still look beautiful when you cry, or when you have bed head. And maybe it’s because you look amazing in sweats, and a t-shirt. And it could maybe be that I want to fall asleep next to you, more then anything in the world. Maybe it’s because every time you say my name I smile. Or how you make me feel all fuzzy inside when you touch me.

Possibly…

I think it might be because I don’t want to stop talking about you, or how I could go on forever. Or because the only reason I wrote this is to make you smile/ I don’t know what you did; I don’t know when it happened. But I fell in love with you. And that love has been growing and growing for almost 7 months now. I think you’re perfect…

I got it.

I know why I love you, Lindsay Davis. I love you simply because, you are you. Now, don’t ever forget that baby…

Youre so..

Retarded? Why do we use this as an insult? I mean if you think about it, people who are actually Mentally Retarded are the happiest people on earth. And I say that in the kindest way possible. They don’t have to worry about the war, or how oils gushing into the ocean. They don’t even have to worry about fitting in, or impressing the opposite sex. All they have to do is be themselves.

So someone calls you retarded, thinking there calling you stupid. Yeah, there IQ isn’t 120, but a bet you a million dollars that they are happier then you. And they appreciate the little things in life more then you, and they probably have better friends then you. I mean there with the same kids a lot, and they probably trust them more then I trust any of my friends. Now I’m not saying that Special Ed kids have it made, and there lucky. I’m just saying we should stop making fun of them; they have an advantage over us that is priceless. Happiness…

Mirror,Mirror on the wall...

What if mirrors could tell stories…? Think about how many times you look in the mirror everyday. You could walk into the bathroom crying, and clean yourself up one day. And the next day, go in the same bathroom and see if your hairs okay. What about the mirror in your room. It could tell you what days you looked beautiful, and what days you looked beautiful, but you didn’t think you did. It could tell you how in 7th grade you wore those clothes, and did your hair the way everyone else did to fit in. And how in 8th grade you realized that you were you, and they were they. And that you took an extra 20 minutes to get ready every morning to impress that certain someone. It could tell you how you looked into it and cried, sick with yourself because you couldn’t impress them… It might even tell you how you looked when you were yourself, in sweatpants and a sweatshirt, with your hair lost and tangled on a cold Sunday afternoon. But if it told you that, it would also have to tell you how alive your eyes were, and how lost your eyes seemed as you tried to dress up the next day, for people who only knew the person you weren’t. Maybe it would even tell you who you are. After all, you looked at yourself inside it every day. Maybe that’s why you aren’t supposed to break a mirror, if you break a mirror. You might just lose the only thing that knows you… You might just lose your story.

.....

I will tell you this once and only once.

If you look down to me don't expect me to look up to you. Just because I'm 14 doesn't mean I'm stupid. I know when your lying to me, i know when your disrespecting me. Yeah you can be a big shot all you want. Don't expect me to kiss your ass.

Do not stereotype me. I am not in a "click" I'm not a jock. I'm sorry if i use big words, and don't do drugs and I'm still a virgin. I guess i don't feel like being cool for you...

If i here one more time that our country is going down the drain because of our uneducated, "stupid", rude and stubborn generation I'm going to explode. If you don't like it then be a role model. You screwed up this country, your the reason why everyone from other countries looks down on us. Stop blaming me for your mistakes.

I don't like talking to adults as you can probably tell. Its not that i think there stupid and not worthy to talk to. Its that they either talk down to me, or that they expect me to talk to them using "sir" "Mr. so and so" and give them a firm handshake every time i see them. I get that I'm an uneducated fool. But if you look at the other people around me, I'm not so bad.

Over and out.

BLAH

This is my essay for mr. Snyders contest thing about how a wallet got inside a wall and all that good stuff

(rough draft)

The night was cold; the air seemed to be still, almost like it was frozen. There was a man standing outside a building, the sign above his head read, “Capital Theater”. The man didn’t seem to be fazed by the cold… He looked to be in his early twenties, or maybe even still a teenager. He had not quite been able to grow a full beard, and his face was red from the wind. Earlier that day he had received his first paycheck. Most men of his age would have taken there girlfriend out to dinner, or maybe a few packs of cigarettes. But not this young man…he slowly pulled out his wallet from the pocket of his jeans and started to look through it. It was an organized mess full of receipts and cash. He found his driver’s license in the small pocket of the wallet and ran his fingers around the edges. Charles William Lolas’ it read, male, 185 pounds, 5 feet 11 inches. He then chuckled remembering the day he received it. He saw 15 dollars he had received from the bank, and the pay check stub he had gotten earlier that day. There was also a receipt from Jackson Autowash, and a notice for a doctor’s appointment he didn’t plan on going to. After all, doctors don’t get paid to tell you that you’re fine and healthy. There always seems to be something wrong with you. It always seems to be about money these days, and he didn’t want to be any part of it. He had seen men destroy lives and reputations in there lust for money. This is when he closed his wallet; the cold had finally hit him. Maybe it was the bitter cold of the wind hitting his face, or maybe it was the coldness of the world that made him shiver. He turned and walked into the theater. The man walked around the theater for some time, trying to warm his body and hands. He soon found an opening in the wall, not even 3 inches wide. Teenagers had shoved gum wrappers and other miscellaneous things inside it. He then remembered why he had come here and whispered to himself as he was looking at the small crevice in the wall… “Perfect” he uttered the word so softly only he could hear himself, even though there was no one around. He kneeled down and shoved the wallet inside. That wallet had been bugging him all day, fattening his pocket and making him look like a fool. He never noticed it before, but today his wallet had money in it. Today he had a power he did not want, nor did he think he deserved. He shoved the wallet as deep as he could and walked out of the theater. He was going to go home now, where his treasure and money really was. He did not lose his wallet; he lost the thing that would control his life. As he walked in front of the theater he uttered a single word “Freedom”…

Ahhh

Did you guys know...

The first school was established in 1200 b.c.

Hitler's half brother was a Jew

The first light bulb was not made by Thomas Jefferson. He stole the idea and patented it

The Native Americans invented "sports"

The world is closer then it has ever been to being at "peace"

There are more happy people on this earth then sad

Did you know that if you tell someone something that sounds relatively smart and researched they will most likely believe you.

did you know the government does this all the time?

2040

So I was watching TV last night with my brother. Of course he has the controller because I don't really care what we watch. But he was flipping channels and came across a documentary thing called "2040" and it was about what the world would be like in 2040. I thought it was really interesting of course, my brother didn't. But he stayed on the channel for about 2-3 minutes. And in that 2-3 minutes this is what happened.

- man talks about how the water for about half the countries would run out, as well as food. So millions of people would cross borders at once. Trying to survive.

- then it went to a kind of comic book/cartoon thing. Like the drawings looked like a comic book. and it wasn't animated. They were drawings. But it it was narrated by a woman. The woman was a paramedic, and she was at the Mexican-American border. "I was trying to give the people water on the other side of the fence when the fence broke! Hundreds of people just ran forward and the border patrol were out numbered. All of a sudden i heard machine gun fire! the border patrol was shooting into the crowd..."

I don't know what happened after that because my brother changed the channel. But i just thought the symbolism of it was kind of cool. Every things a mess, so we just shoot people down. That's cool...
